Stevie is 3!!!!

My little girl is 3!  What?!?!?  How did this happen?

Stevie was very vocal about what she wanted to do for her Birthday this year - Fat Daddy's!!!  Turns out, it was a great idea; good pizza, fun games...and alligators.  Yeah, the alligators are kinda random at an arcade, but entertaining for the kids!

At three, Stevie still loves Dora and Diego, but has now branched out to Hello Kitty, Tinker Bell, Bubble Guppies and Princesses.  She talks ALOT and never stops moving.  And, I mean never.   Her favorite thing to eat is broccoli...for real.  She's not shy and gets upset when total strangers at the grocery store don't respond to her greetings.  She has a best friend named Josie, who she talks about all the time, but also fight with all the time. 

To my baby girl on her 3rd Birthday - I love you so much.  I always say you make me tired :)  But you make me so many other things than that...happy, proud and...well, I can't think of anything else, I'm too tired.  I look forward to the next thing you say that will make me laugh, the next thing you do that will make me cringe and the next choice you make that will make me proud.

Easter 2011

We had hoped to have the house ready enough to have an Easter Egg hunt this year...but not even close.  So, we took her to the Stanley's instead where she and Chloe had a blast finding eggs in the yard.

We asked Stevie what she wanted in her new room.  We thought her request of "pink, purple and flowers" was pretty easy to accommodate!  It could have been worse, her current favorite things are ducks and balls.

gone, we finished her room and surprised her...

We Bought A House!

I've been a little behind on my blog posts because we bought a house!  It needs a little work,  but we're up for the challenge and looking forward to making it a home.  This is the "Before" picture and I hope to post the "After" picture soon!

Cupcakes and Cartoons

Last week the Stanley's came over for dinner and Stevie enjoyed a little play time with Chloe.  Stevie spent  most of the time bossing Chloe around, but she did take a break so they could enjoy some cupcakes and cartoons.

Time Out!

Our life for the past three weeks has been full of temper tantrums, hissy fits and sleepless nights.  So, Stevie spent a lot of time like this...

...until she developed the flu.  We took her to the doctor and he told us that she's had a bad double ear infection for a while!  So, after a bottle of antibiotics for her and a healthy dose of guilt for me, all is well again.  Note to self:  Waking up every 3 hours for 3 weeks probably means something other than nightmares or naughtiness.  Lesson Learned.
